Install the agent

Install Renboot on Windows, macOS, Linux desktops, or headless servers.

Desktop app

  1. Open /download (or get.renboot.com).
  2. Choose Windows, macOS, or Linux and download the installer.
  3. Run the installer and launch Renboot.
  4. Sign in with the same account you use on the web dashboard.
  5. Finish first-run prompts (device name, resource limits). Confirm the device shows under Devices.

Headless (servers / VPS)

For machines without a GUI, use the headless installer published on get.renboot.com. Pair with the code shown in the terminal so the device attaches to your account.

Requirements

  • Stable internet connection.
  • Enough free disk and RAM for the workloads you allow.
  • Permission to install software and keep a background service running.
